Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch bundt pan with butter and dust lightly with flour.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, honey, and brown sugar until fluffy (3–4 minutes).
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
Mix in orange zest and orange juice.
Alternately fold the dry ingredients and buttermilk into the wet ingredients. Start and end with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack. Optionally, drizzle with honey or an orange glaze.
