Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water, heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Blend frozen raspberries, simple syrup, chopped mint, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  3. Pour the raspberry mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. If using a Ninja Creami, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for making sorbet, or pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 1-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches a sorbet texture.
  5. Scoop the sorbet into bowls or cups, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and serve immediately or keep frozen until ready to enjoy.

Notes

For a smoother texture, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before chilling to remove raspberry seeds. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or honey, depending on your taste preference. Pair with fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, or a sprinkle of dark chocolate for extra indulgence.
