Ingredients
Method
Wash and dry grapes
- Rinse grapes under cold water and pat completely dry. Moisture makes chocolate slip off.
Insert toothpicks
- Stick a toothpick into each grape so they’re easy to dip.
Freeze grapes
- Place grapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Freeze for 1–2 hours until firm.
Melt chocolate
- Put chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Or use a double boiler on the stove.
Dip grapes
- Hold each grape by the toothpick and dip it into melted chocolate. Let the extra drip off.
Add toppings
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with nuts, coconut, or sprinkles.
Freeze again
- Put dipped grapes back on the parchment sheet. Freeze 30 minutes, or until chocolate hardens.
Serve and enjoy
- Transfer to an airtight container and keep in the freezer until ready to eat.
Notes
- Always use seedless grapes for the best bite.
- Don’t let grapes sit out too long after dipping — they’ll sweat and lose their crunch.
- Dark chocolate makes them taste richer, while white chocolate is sweeter.
- You can drizzle with peanut butter for an extra treat.
