Ingredients

  • 2 packs instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 oz each
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping Cool Whip or homemade
  • 16 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1 bag gummy worms
  • 8 clear plastic cups about 9 oz each

Method

Step 1 – Make the pudding:
  1. Whisk pudding mix and cold milk together in a large bowl until thick and smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2 – Add whipped topping:
  1. Fold in whipped topping to make the pudding light and fluffy.
Step 3 – Crush the cookies:
  1. Put Oreos in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until crumbly (not too fine).
Step 4 – Build the cups:
  1. Spoon a layer of crushed Oreos into the bottom of each cup. Add a layer of pudding. Repeat until almost full, ending with Oreos on top.
Step 5 – Add gummy worms:
  1. Push 2–3 gummy worms into the top layer so they look like they’re crawling out of the “dirt.”
Step 6 – Chill and serve:
  1. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Clear cups make the layers stand out best.
  • Add gummy worms right before serving so they stay fresh.
  • You can prepare the cups a day ahead, but keep them covered in the fridge.
  • Try fun swaps: candy pumpkins for Halloween, sprinkles for birthdays, or mint Oreos for a fresh twist.
