Ingredients
Method
- Prep the Strawberries: Make sure strawberries are completely dry—moisture can prevent the chocolate from sticking.
- Melt the Chocolate: Combine chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth.
- Dip the Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate. Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Garnish: Sprinkle with optional toppings like crushed nuts or sea salt before the chocolate sets.
- Set the Chocolate: Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes until chocolate hardens.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately, or store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Notes
For best results, use ripe but firm strawberries. White chocolate or milk chocolate can be used as alternatives. For a two-tone effect, drizzle white chocolate over the dark chocolate coating once set.
